Our client, provider of optimal execution, algorithmic trading and risk management systems, is seeking a Java Developer.
The qualities and experience we seek include:
· Excellent command of the fundamentals of software development:
algorithms, data structures, object-oriented design
· Familiarity with modern software development methods, specifically test-driven development; loosely-coupled designs; effective use of software patterns and avoidance of antipatterns
· Fluency in Java and at least one of the following languages: C, Perl, C++, Javascript. Familiarity with core language and library features in Java
· Interest in real-time electronic trading
Bonus: experience with developing GUIs or web front ends; experience with real-time trading systems; experience with RDBMS or OR solutions
